I really like this board, as it shows the way that Gehry works at a glance, includes lots of different colours of brown (used coloured pencils, sandpaper, material and other brown paper) and also includes information along with drawings. It worked out really well, the layout of the board too and I am really happy with this piece of work.
Chair Project - Frank Gehry Development Sheet
When I chose a designer to create an A2 board on, I found it very hard to choose between two. Because of this, I chose to do a board on both designers. The designer that I studied other than Ron Arad that I really liked was Frank Gehry, and this is who I did the other A2 board on. I didn't want to make this board the same as Ron Arad's board, so I chose to add more information into it, which I felt that I needed to work on from my previous board. I wanted this board to focus on the way that Frank Gehry works, which is a very unique way. Gehry works using corrugated cardboard, and as I am studying 3D in this project, I wanted to add some of it to the board, making it so it isn't flat and boring, it relates to my chosen specialism too. I added information, and images to this board along with a couple of drawings, making it include everything I wanted to include.
